Mark Simonson released Proxima Sans in 1994, then later expanded the original six faces to create Proxima Nova, “a full-featured and versatile family of 42 fonts (six weights in three widths with italics).”
Modern and extremely useful, Proxima Nova has an impressive list of features, including matching italics and small caps for all weights and widths, lining and old-style figures (proportional and tabular), alternates, a full f ligature set, and dingbats.
Proxima Nova Extra Condensed Complete includes the extra condensed versions of: Thin, Light, Regular, Semi-bold, Bold, Extra Bold and Black and their corresponding italics.
