Laura grew up in a 1920s home that had unique wallpaper throughout, which led to a fascination with patterns. “The icons and tiles are a result of several sketches accumulated in my notebooks, finally redrawn and assembled into a font format.”
Winter Wallflowers is the frosty-themed fourth typeface in this series. There are 25 unique hand-drawn wallpaper tiles, plus 61 icons for standalone use. Creating the patterns is easy. All you have to do is “type the same letter consecutively (e.g. aaaa,bbbb) and the pattern will emerge.
