Grindel Grove

Several years before creating Grindel Grove, Laura was asked to design a brochure for a native plant habitat garden. Years later, she came across the original drawings, which included brush-lettered titles on watercolor paper. Laura scanned them and lettered the additional letters to complete the alphabet, along with the other characters needed for the set. “I named it Grindel Grove because I live in on a wooded property with coyotes and other wildlife.”

Grindel Grove has an organic, natural, and eerie look that lends itself well to otherworldly subjects. Nearly 250 glyphs, including alternates and ligatures.
