Garçon Grotesque

$225.00

During Thomas Jockin’s studies at Cooper Union, he was struck by the fact that while Copperplate Gothic is now “something of a go-to or default typeface in much the same way as Times New Roman and Arial are, it’s a lackluster solution. No lowercase, problematic letterform construction, limited language support, and paucity of weights.” Thomas asked himself what a contemporary Copperplate Gothic might look like. And that’s where Garçon Grotesque comes in.

Garçon is made for modern designers, and works for any project that calls for a sense of sophistication‭ and ‬elegance‭.‬ Five weights‭ with matching capitals, plus stylistic alternates, tabular figures, and support for Latin-based Western and Central European and Eastern European languages.
