This collaboration between Neil Summerour and Mary Catherine Pflug has taken years to come to fruition, but it was worth the wait. It isn’t a revival of Imre Reiner’s Corvinus; rather, it’s a “reassessment of all of the things that made Corvinus great, distilled in a logical, consistent system. From this system sprang Couture and Couture Sans.” The family is a stylish, subtle nod to early modern and Art Deco type. Five weights, with an italic for each.
