Courtesy Script, as the name suggests, was inspired by the hand-lettered look of Victorian-era custom stationery.
Ale Paul based Courtesy on an alphabet found in a 19th-century penmanship journal, but created hundreds of additional, stylistically complementary letterforms. The lowercase set is an understated, simple monoline with very wide connections that make readability easier. “The capitals offer variety in both the weight and degrees of flourish, from fancy to over the top.”
Over 1,200 glyphs, including lots of alternates, swashed lowercase forms, and ending and ornamental swashes.
