Ale Paul was introduced to an 1844 lettering book by Ramón Stirling titled Bellezas de la Caligrafía, which was the inspiration for Bellissima. The typeface is a decidedly modern nod to letterpress and stationery. Nearly 2,000 characters, including ligatures, multiple endings and swashed connections, hundreds of alternates for upper and lowercase letters, and ornaments.
Bellissima Script Redux is a reduced set of characters with a lower price tag.
