American Scribe

Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence, but the handwriting most Americans are familiar with was actually Timothy Matlack’s, an important revolutionary leader and political figure. American Scribe is based on Matlack’s script, which “was compact but legible — perfect for the first and most famous of American documents.”

Brian created well over 550 characters, including ligatures, standard and contextual alternates, lining and old-style figures, and Central and Eastern European language support.
